After spending time with Jack writing and playing, Nick glanced at his watch and started to pack up.
"So, tomorrow night?" Jack asked. He had invited him to come over, hangout with the band and practice their song.
Nick nodded packing up his guitar into its case. He stacked the music sheets but left them on the coffee table. Jack said he'd make copies.
"That's the plan."
Nick glanced at his watch again.
"Speaking of which, can I bother you for Johnnie's number?"
Jack raised an eyebrow.
Nick made a small uncommitted motion.
"With everything that happened that night, I got yours and
Fifty minutes later, and just as the tow truck was pulling out, Nick arrived.
Johnnie smiled his first real smile in hours.
"Perfect timing."
"I'm just that good," Nick told him with a cocky but teasing grin as he pulled up and removed his dark sunglasses. He glanced towards the departing tow truck as he put the kick stand down but didn't kill the bike yet.
"Anything else?" He asked looking back to his friend. Johnnie glanced about but it wa
Johnnie rubbed his forehead with one hand as he slipped his phone in his back pocket with his other. Sighing heavily in frustration he leaned back against the cop car. It hadn't started out as a bad day but the last 3 1/2 hours had just plain sucked.
He'd gone up to the Stereo Wherehouse Nick had suggested and was in the process of looking at high quality stereos when a voice had come over the store's intercom. He almost missed the announcement until he heard something about a green Honda. Curious and hopeful they weren't talking about his
Jimmie got a text from his sister and had to go. The cards, 2 half empty beer bottles and a mostly eaten pizza were still on the small kitchen table when Jose and Johnnie relocated to the balcony.
Jose was relaxing on the lounge chair while Johnnie leaned against the metal balcony railing, his back to him. They had fallen back into a silence and, though it wasn't as comfortable as before, Jose was being patient.
Finally Johnnie broke it.
"I had sex with Jonathan."
Jose nodded slowly and took a sip of his beer.
"Jimmie thinks it was Nick," he countered.

They came home like usual. Johnnie headed for his room in the back of the house to drop off his backpack and Jose to the kitchen to get a glass of water. Almost immediately Jose heard Johnnie calling.
"Jose, bring me the fly swatter will you, please?"
Jose set down the glass, grabbed the swatter off the wall and hurriedly headed back. Johnnie was standing in the doorway with his hand held out but his body facing the room.
"What is it?" Jose asked trying to see past. "Fly?"
"Wasp," Johnnie corrected.
Jose cringed harshly. He was allergic and deathly afraid.

3 days later, Johnnie had done his best to put both New Years Eve and Day out of his mind. He'd gotten his workout in eventually and had pounded on and been pounded upon in return by both sparring partners and workout bags. He'd avoided calls from everyone and kept text messages both cherry and vague.
It was January 4th when Jose had showed up with root beer and playing cards. This was one of the many reasons Johnnie loved him. Jose didn't mention the fact that Johnnie had been avoiding them. He did not comment on th
They were relaxing on the couch, each with their own well-loved guitar, just casually playing and writing, when Ecko walked in to the apartment she and Jack shared.
She frowned briefly until she realized who was sitting beside her boyfriend.
"Nick!" She called out and did a quick wave both surprised and pleased. It had been about 5 mouths since she had both first and last seen him but Nick was a pleasant fellow and she had liked him immediately. She dropped her purse on the counter then crossed to the couch, leaning over to give Jack a kiss in lieu of verbal greeting but got pulled onto his lap instead. There was an awkward

Jack, age 15
It was just another day at school.
He got through his classes, hung around his small group of friends during lunch then headed out front after the end of school bell.
Like every other Tuesday, Aunt DeeDee was waiting for him in her red mustang convertible. She was wearing a pretty yellow sundress and her long brown hair was pulled back in ponytail. Jack gave a wave in the direction of a random call of his name then slid into the seat beside her.
Aunt DeeDee glanced over with disapproval at his attire before looking back to the traffic as she carefully pulled out of the school parking lot.

The rustic sign outside titled the place "Captain's Last Pint," but the locals shortened it to "The Capt'ns." It was tucked in between a flower shop and a mom & pop shop across the hall from a Men's clothing store on the bottom floor of a 16 floor office building. Located 3 blocks down from the apartment complex where they all lived, it was both convenient and an obvious choice for a late night drink.

He made it to the 7th floor unscathed and as the elevator doors opened, it was clear the party was on. Immediately Johnnie noticed the jumping colors and continuous movement and he began to weave himself through the pople trying to find Jimmie.
It was then he heard one of Jack's songs coming through the speakers. At first he hadn't recognized it, it being sung without the music, but once he picked it out he knew both the song and the singer.

When I was his target, I could live with it. He could be loving, gentle, even kind. Most of the time. But, when he was too stressed, or drunk, he wasn't himself.
I tell myself that's why I stayed. Because of who he was, the man I fell in love with. I refused to see who he was becoming. As long as I was the only one he hurt, it didn't matter. Not to me.
But, when he raised his hand to her when he went to strike our daughter in the midst of his drunken stupor, his alcohol clouded haze a different sort of haze colored my vision. Or cleared it.
I saw him, the man he had become. Angry, violent, too drunk to think.
And I sa
He woke alone. Wrapping his blankets around him like a shield against the world, he stumbled to first the thermostat then the coffee maker. He found the note on the fridge along the way.
Would have loved to stay for breakfast but I've got a plane to catch at noon. Don't worry- Your secret is safe with me, though good luck with the bruises.
Johnnie frowned at the unsigned noted and ran a hand over his neck. He didn't feel anything but made a detour to the bathroom and its mirror anyway. It'd been a rough night, to put it mildly, but he hadn't been worried about the marks on his body
This is a collections of stories of 4 males plus their family and frends.
ok, so, Jack is straight and every one else is bi or gay so beware the M/M.
My girls are, so far, straight as well.
I do not write the stories in order but, rather, as my mind plays with them.
Hence the reason for an all encompassing order.
